I got the athena micra 6 system approximately 3 years ago. This means the subwoofer is out of warranty.
Basically, I haven't been using the system much for the last year or so, I went to turn it on the other day after probably a month of not being used and the sub appears to be almost dead (no sound but lights come on). It could have died before now and I just didn't notice. When I turn the music on, the red light on the sub goes green but no sound comes out of the sub. Slowly, over about 30s the green light starts to fade until it goes out completely.
Is there any kind of troubleshooting guide? I don't expect the sub is worth the money it would take to get a technician to fix it...so if I can fix it myself, or at least find out if the issue is recoverable, that would be great.
Any advice on where to start? Thanks!
