    Image Test

    Re: Image Test

Ok looks like it worked, seemed like other people had some trouble posting pictures in the past.  Well anyway my setup changed slightly from the pictures.

    Athena speakers: Fronts - AS-F1.2's; Center - AS-C1.2; Surround - AS-R1.2's; Subwoofer - AS-P4000

Rack: Middle Atlantic ERK 35 unit; (Top to Bottom) Panamax 5100, Motorola 3412 DVR, Xbox 360, Sony DVPNS90V DVD player, Emotiva MMC-1 processor, Emotiva IPS-1 7 channel amp.

The change in the picture is the tv, moved that one in to the bedroom (Toshiba 46" RPCRT 46H84), with now new LG plasma mounted on the wall 50PC5D, I placed the center channel on a Sanus SF18C center channel stand, works out real well.  The Emotiva amp powering the Athena's has plenty of head room, 150 watt per channel @ 8 ohm.  I use 5 of them for the main system, the extra two I use to power 5 additional rooms in the house on zone 2.  I have an MX-950 Universal to control the system,  Its a great system, had the speakers from about two years now, and using them in this system for 5 months.  Thinking about adding a second  AS-P4000, making it dual 10" subs.  I think it will add the little bit of bass that I think I need, other than that their awesome speakers.

    Re: Image Test Nice Rack

Looks really clean.  Good choice on the Panamax.  They make quality products.  I noticed that you were thinking of purchasing a second subwoofer.  Have you tried placing the sub near the corner on the right hand side of your room just below the window?   Depending on where your favorite spot is on the couch, you might try moving the sub to different locations in your room, especially since you have such high ceilings.  I had to do the same, for mine, even though it is a down firing sub and I don't have high ceilings.  Anyway good luck with that.  Bye the way, nice rack.

Thanks VR, I already have another AS-P4000 up in the bedroom room setup I may bring that downstairs and put in that right corner you were talking about.  One to simply fill up some space over there, two to get just a bit more bass out of the system.  Or I might take your advice on moving the original sub over there instead.  Just the only catch is I have to run a RG-6 over there, what a pain :(  Thank you for the kind words I appreciate it, and the rack is awesome lol, still cant believe I got away with it with the wife..
